So Mark loathes the new font I've chosen. He thinks that an all caps font is "adolescent and juvenile". I pointed out to him that my writing is adolescent and juvenile so it works for me.
Here is your chance. Since this might be the only time I ever listen to your good advice, let your opinion be heard. Should I stick with this font, or should I switch to something more traditional and less adolescent?

Shoot! Am I really going to vote for traditional and against whimsy? I think I will, but with reservation. Ultimately this is your voice, your soap box, your virtual self on the intertubes and you should do whatever tickles you. Since I read your blog in an RSS reader, it makes no difference to me at all, but I do think that casing makes it easier to read.
ReplyDeleteGo traditional...ALL CAPS, even SMALL CAPS is harder to read, since the letters don't give the reader as many cues on what they are.
ReplyDeleteTrad for me too. I think it's probably fine in small doses, but a wall of text would end up merging into a big grey blob.
ReplyDeleteI read your blog in Google Reader, but when I clicked over, I wasn't crazy about the font. It's kind of corporate. Meh?
ReplyDeleteI changed it from the very cool font I loved to this, because my audience is made up of my friends and they- like me- are now old and need casing. ;)
ReplyDeletecaps and lower case... easier to read..
